We have had a busy week with so much learning! Some of us started the week with a special mission to make orange shortbread biscuits for the class. It was great having a teacher from Thomas Hardye school come to show us how to bake them!

We have learnt lots about odd and even numbers, splatting them, sorting them and talking about how even numbers can be shared equally.

We have also been talking about where different animals live and had a focus on Africa. We learnt that some parts of Africa are hot and dry but there are also waterfalls, jungles and volcanoes! We used our gentle hands to look at some artefacts and talked about how some people wore fancy headdresses and clothes for special celebrations and dances.

All of the children were so sensible and used their beautiful singing voices for our Sing up song out on the great field. Well done everyone 🙂

Enjoy looking at your Jubilee books with your families!
