What a busy week we have had!

Our maths focus for the week was all about the number 1. We learnt lots of ways to represent the number and are now familiar with some mathematical vocabulary including numeral and subitise!

We had our first 3 bucket fillers this week who achieved their 6 stick goal so they got to chose a prize from the box! Well done for such amazing good choices, kind words and bucket filling! So many other children are soooo close to getting their 6 sticks too!

Belle brought in the Dorset echo to tell us how proud she is of her Dad who took part in the London marathon, raising money for Epilepsy Action. We all gave him a big round of applause in class! If anyone would like to donate to this wonderful charity then please do ๐Ÿ™‚

Our PE Tuesdays are lots of fun! So far we have talked about what happens to our bodies when we exercise, discussed rules for being safe and learning the best we can whilst in the hall. We have played Beans, Stuck in the Mud and followed some yoga!

Finally, we are all becoming phoneme super stars! We work so hard to learn, revise, match and blend all the phonemes we have learnt. Here is the latest phonics video for you to watch at home together…
